Long live the Boss

George M. Steinbrenner III, the Boss and long time owner of the New York Yankees, passed way today.  The controversial owner was both loved and hated in the baseball world.  Yet, even his sharpest critics admired his business acumen.

So, is it any surprise that the Boss chose to die in 2010?  The estate tax is currently set at 0%.  At the stroke of midnight on Dec. 31, 2010, the rate is scheduled to return to 55%!  So, even in death, the Boss beat the system!
