Outragous Severence Package

It was announced today that Conan O'Brien has signed a deal with NBC to leave the Tonight Show.  His severance package is estimated at $32 million dollars!  $32 million bonus for quitting an industry that receives millions in subsidies from taxpayers?  Where's the outrage?!
